When we stayed at the Joshua Wilton House in Harrisonburg, their breakfast first course was a lovely and delicious creation. They simply took a tall parfait glass and layered mixed fresh fruit, yogurt and topped with their fantastic home-made granola.
This morning we're going to have a version of this -- fat-free vanilla yogurt, blackberries, and purchased low-fat granola.
I've been looking at granola recipes, and sometime next week I'd like to try making some.

I just read about your dh. Thank God he is a survivor! And you too. You prob know this already, but I use applesauce in all my baking as the oil substitute. Adds fiber also. Then anything I can sneak oats into...ground or whole I do also. I wont even talk about the chicken we eat. LOL The family says we should be clucking cause we are definitely not gonna be mooooing! LOL
I just got some blackberries, thanks for sharing this idea. Sounds good, besides healthy.
